Really good underfloor heating

Very pleasant stay, as always. The hotel with very classy and new-fashioned rooms, in a nice enough area, conveniently near the ferry out of the Westfjords. A wide array of goodies for breakfast.

Tasteful and very classy rooms with private bathrooms. Location really close to mountain, Iceland and the ferry out of the Westfjords.

The small sink in the bathroom was oddly placed under a shelf. The surroundings of the hotel were not appealing, with a view that faced a scrapyard, which detracted from the overall atmosphere. I felt a significant lack of attention to these details.

The location was beautiful and super convenient to the breidafjord ferry. The communal kitchen and underfloor heating made my long weekend more fun.

Stroend Guesthouse has fine views of the ocean and mountains. The communal kitchen is well-stocked. A lovely touch was the underfloor heating in my room. The check-in process was simple, and the personal email before arrival made everything easy. The close proximity to beautiful sights and a hot spring is a huge plus. Some minor inconveniences popped up. The bathroom sink is quite small. The nearby pool could be a bit hotter. It's a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring, but a few tweaks could was nice.

The beautiful long beach nearby offers a perfect escape, complemented by a clean and well-stocked kitchen for meal prep. The new facilities, including spacious communal areas, really stood out . The small bathroom sink made everyday tasks a bit tricky, and the lack of nearby dining options requires planning ahead. The surrounding area could be more visually appealing.

The view of the water was beautiful, and the self check-in process was smooth. Having a communal kitchen was a great bonus for preparing meals.

the shared kitchen could definitely use some better organization, but the location was super beautiful with a long beach nearby. underfloor heating in the room was a nice touch and the staff was really accommodating. loved the gorgeous view outside!

Beautiful Views, But Watch Your Step!

I enjoyed the fine sea view . The self-check-in was straightforward, although I recommend bringing a guide for first-timers. The communal kitchen made meal prep enjoyable, but be careful of the step down to the patio. It caught me off guard. A lovely place with a few quirks!

Stroend guesthouse was lovely. Our room was very comfy and tidy, with fantastic underfloor heating. We enjoyed the convenience of the super clean shared kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Plus, it was conveniently near the ferry out of the westfjords!

The room was tasteful and clean with brand-new amenities including central heating, tea/coffee making equipment, and a writing table.

Convenient spot in a lovely area, close to mountains and the ferry terminal for heading out of the westfjords. the surroundings are peaceful, and the rooms are newly renovated and stylish. 🏔️

Enjoyed the sleek, modern style and the convenience of a Nespresso machine in the room. Location near the ferry made it a great stopover spot during our trip.

The bathroom sink was super awkward with a shelf above it - tough to use comfortably. Plus, the view of the scrapyard was a real bummer.
